Worth the money

Sail Date: January 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

The ship is more crowded than others I've been on and inside stateroom configuration forced one person to crawl over the other to get up, food below par in Meditarrean buffet, bacon tasted rank, but the anytime dining was a great experience, the shows were excellent, very clean ship and overall impression was excellent.

Pros: anytime dining service and food excellent

Cons: Mediterranean buffet

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
reconfigure the bed on inside cabins
Ship Quality
inside staterooms should be reconfigured so there is walkway on each side of bed. shopping decks have narrow passageways, bathroom large compared to other ships, steward was wonderful.
Food and Dining
We asked for and received the same table every night in anytime dining and got to know the waiters, and food excellent, so we enjoyed every evening. There was not a 24 hour dining area with exception of pizza.
Service and Staff
wonderful staff
great excursions offered.
Children's Programs
Lots of kids on this ship, but they were kept busy and we never heard a little one cry until the very last night for all of 10 seconds. Quite unexpected with so many children aboard.
