The jewerly deals ARE NOT deals. At St. Kitts, my husband and I were told that a ring, that they had marked at 3,200.00 was marked down to 1,00.00 because it was the end of the season, but because we were3 on the curse, they would give us a special deal of 1,500.00. At that timt the curise director came in so they marked it down to 1,500.00 and "guarenteed that it would appraise at 7,000.00 'back in the states". When we got home we had it appraised and 2 jewerlers told us that if we paid 900.00 or less we got a deal. (actually one of them said 800.00). Be cautious unless you know what you are doing.
