Exhausting but fun cruise

Sail Date: September 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

Not very good at crowd control. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Well decorated rooms, lounges, & atrium.

Pros: Most of the ports of call

Cons: No day(s) at sea to relax; long lines at buffet; too many Spanish speaking loud passengers (awakened in middle of night from talking in halls); sports bar but no satellite package to broadcast all games

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Entertainment
One bingo game per session for $20??? Not enough instructional stuff at convenient times, ie cooking, dancing, wine tasting.
Comedians not very funny, but dance reviews were great.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Nothing special - typical fare in dining room. Not enough variation on daily Lido deck buffets.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Cruise director beyond his prime - old jokes; doesn't fit young Carnival atmosphere.
