First Cruise, but not our last
Carnival Victory Cruise Review to Canada, New England, New York
Sail Date: September 06, 2008
Ship: Carnival Victory
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 9 years ago
Review SummaryThe Carnival Victory was an enormous vessel! After about three days we had the hang of getting from place to place. We didn't immediately know that you couldn't access all levels from every elevator bank, but we got around fine and had a great time, despite the hurricane that trailed behind us.
Food and Dining
Service and Staff
Food service people were friendly and conversational. Bar staff was a bit less friendly, but we didn't use those services much so it didn't make our experience less pleasant.
Entertainment was outstanding, there was so much to do such as bingo, dance classes, games, library hour, movies, casino, shopping, spa, mini golf, pool, water slide...just everything.
Cabin / Stateroom
Ports of Call
Pros: pay one price for everything
Cons: long line to clear security and board the vessel
