What an experience!!!

Sail Date: March 23, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Family w/young children

Room Type: Inside

This was a newer ship than others we have been on. The weather was great and there were a ton of kids on this ship (it was spring break week). The carpets throughout the ship could use a serious cleaning. The meals for the main dinner were great as always!

Pros: Carnival does a great job as always....this was our third cruise in four years on Carnival

Cons: The lines at the food service places were quite long

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Service and Staff
Cabin / Stateroom
Carnivals bedding is great!! So comfy....makes me not want to leave the stateroom. We got an interior stateroom which is great for daytime light comes in!
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Lines were very long during peak times and did not move very quickly. Took about 20 minutes to go through the lines.
The shows were okay. The comedians could have been better. The variety of activities offered was great!
Children's Programs
Kids loved Camp Carnival!!
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Hiking Dunn River Falls was great! We did the Sail and Hike. It was frustrating because we were almost held captive at the beach. There was no other shopping, dining, etc places around (I think it was a private beach owned by the shore excursion company) so we were kind of stuck paying their crazy high lunch prices!
Don't Miss: Next time I would just do the Dunn River Falls hike
Cozumel, Mexico
We just took a taxi to the beach for the day. Of course, you can't miss Margaritaville at any of the ports!!
George Town, Grand Cayman
Hung out at loved the water slide and pool there. It was a little overcast so we did some shopping and then enjoyed the quietness on the ship!
