Room Type: Balcony

We have cruised on Carnival ships 3 times and on other ships 4 times. We found the Carnival Victory and Triumph to be so hard to navigate. We couldn,t find the Pacific diningroom and on 2 occasions we finally arrived too late for service. We met several people trying to find their way also. The ship map didn't help much either. You would probably need to have maps of deck 3, 4 & 5 from a bird's eye view (which would probably make a bulky guide). I will probably look for cruises on the Imagination again, or try the Fantasy. .

Pros: The overall cleanliness

Cons: The confusing layout. The clubs and Pacific Dining room impossible to find and get to.

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
Layout horrible, decor too much "stuff" (1/4 the amount would have much better), cleanliness superb, public areas...many too small for parties of more than 2 to find a place to be together. Corn hole in the hallway??!! Kareoke ...impossible to get in the small club!
Entertainment
No activities for "getting to know you" for 18 - 20 year olds. They could go to the Casino and the "Adult comedy" which was a poor substitute for entertainment. The same games as before (limbo, hairy chest contest, ) nothing original. No space big enough for much outdoor dancing.
Children's Programs
We can't evaluate young children's activities or facilities.
Food and Dining
Excellent food and service.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Everyone so helpful, especially our table server & assistants. (Tanto)
