Our first cruise. We enjoyed it, but the ship is freezing most of the time. The weather only gets warmer closer to Grand Cayman and Jamaica. Excursions were okay in Mexico, Grand Cayman a little better and Jamaica was a lot of fun. Food was good. Staff if friendly and helpful (if you tip them well!)

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Good food and good variety for all tastes. Wasn't crazy about the formal evenings. Would prefer not to dress up on a cruise.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not very good evening shows. Comedian was okay.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Did not encounter too many that were not friendly. Most go out of their way to be helpful.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Mostly clean all the time. Hard to figure out ship layout even after a 7 day cruise.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Great beds and stateroom was kept clean twice a day.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Cold most of the time

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!
