very nice ship, boring ports of call

Pros: nice ship

Cons: food

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Ship Quality
ship was huge and very clean
Food and Dining
we asked for a early dinner (5:30) and were told that they could not accomodate this request so we ended up eating dinner at 8:30 every night. I found some of the food to be cold and not at all tasty. our head waiter was rude and not at all helpful. on the other hand our assistant waiter was excellent, very friendly and pleasant to talk to.
Cabin / Stateroom
room was extremely clean. cabin steward was very friendly. in fact we walked past many cabin stewards throughout the day and found that they all seemed to be friendly and very helpful
Service and Staff
for the most part everybody seemed willing to help us if we had questions or concerns however, we did run into a few employes who were downright rude.
the shows we attended were very good-we loved the comedian! however, it seems like a lot of the lounges and bars don't open until dinner time. we often found ourselves bored during the day. the weather was very cold so we couldn't sit on the outer decks. also, the pools were not heated 64 degrees
