A Great Last Minute Getaway!

Sail Date: March 11, 2007

Reviewed: 9 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

The ship was very well laid out. The fitness area was easy to use and offered many choices in activities

Pros: The food and service was awesome. Our wait staff in the diningroom was well above average. Offering us many extras. It was fun watching the waiters doing their farewell dances for the crowd.

Cons: Gaining 5 lbs!

Recommends Carnival Victory? Yes!

Ship Quality
The ship was easy to move around on. Public areas were very well maintained.
Food and Dining
Food was excellent as shown by the weight we gained.
Cabin / Stateroom
The stateroom was very well maintained. We had four of us in the room, which made it a little snug but very economical.
Service and Staff
The ship staff were well above average, friendly and any needs were promptly taken care of.
Entertainment
Quite a variet of activities were offered. Cruise directer was very entertaining.
Miami, Florida
We just drove in and out of Miami as we needed to get back home after the cruise.
George Town, Grand Cayman
We went snorkeling with the sting rays! A really fun and memorable trip. We got to feed them and pet them. Be sure to bring your camera! After the trip we caught a taxi to one of the beaches and had a great 2 hour beach rest.
Don't Miss: Stingray sandbar
Ocho Rios, Jamaica
In Ocho Rios, we went snorkeling for 2 hours. During the time before the snorkeling we offered a taxi driver $20.00 each to take us on a tour around Ocho Rios. It was one of our highlights of the trip as it was informative and very scenic.
Don't Miss: Walking around town, and taxi tour
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
We chose the beach trip which was a long ride but in a comfortable air conditioned bus.
