Buyer Beware

Sail Date: October 29, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Room Type: Inside

The ship it self was updated in one area however where you ate causally was a little de-funked.

Pros: there were many pools on the ship

Cons: It took me almost five hours to be processed to even get on the boat! Be prepared to wait

Recommends Carnival Victory? No.

Cabin / Stateroom
All cruise ship rooms are the same-141 square feet
Entertainment
The Cruise Director was always on his mic. when you were trying to sleep or relax. It was very annoying.
Food and Dining
The food at the formal dinners were good.
Service and Staff
The staff was very friendly
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
I went to Megan's Bay and loved it! The island was just breath taking!
Don't Miss: They do have great excursions for this island.
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
The island was beautiful and the shops were directly off the shop. It was a mini-mall but it was just awesome and I was impressed. You can take a water taxi for $5 to the beaches and other shopping areas.
Don't Miss: The port was beautiful
San Juan, Puerto Rico
We pulled in when it was dark and there were no vendors and the shops were closed. I was really disappointed.
Don't Miss: The port was horrible.
