Great Cruise from a first timer

Sail Date: July 06, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

First time cruise. The staff is wonderful. The food is great, but don't go to dinner starving because the meal is small. Victory is very clean, but prepare to spend a lot of money for extras such as soda, internet and pictures. Overall I really liked it, but not a great idea for someone whose physical mobility is limited.

Pros: Clean, wonderful staff, and great food

Cons: Not a lot of choices to eat late night and not too accommodating to the physically challenged.

Children's Programs
Good for young ones under 7. Not that exciting for the older ones unless they come with a group.
Entertainment
Can stay busy all day and all nite
Ship Quality
Huge ship and clean. Pools are cleaned frequently as well as the walking areas.
Food and Dining
Food was great, but buffet times are not always clear.
Cabin / Stateroom
Overall comfort was great. State room was clean and comfortable.
Service and Staff
Room service is great, 24hrs and free!!!
Halifax, Nova Scotia
Take any of the excursions. The port is beautiful.
