overall, ship very clean, crew kept rooms spotless, and all areas of the ship spotless. entertainment great, ports of call good, and they kept us busy or not...cabins very spacious for a cruise ship, this is my 7th cruise.

Food and Dining

there was a problem, we booked 1 year in advance, spouse in wheelchair and has swallowing problem, the later he eats, the more problem he has...requested early dining, 6 in party, 4 made it to early, 2 bumped to late. Matre'd very sorry, but COULD NOT move us, but moved others who booked 1 month before cruise. called BJ's from ship and they could/would not help. Very distressing, we tried everything to move-but took the later seating to stay together, and did it graciously. But will not cruise this line again for this reason--spouse in wheelchair, unable to eat comfortably, and we made room for "large groups" per the matre'd. No concern for us.

dancers and magician great

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
the waiters and housekeeping were exceptional. Marion the matre'd, he would not help with the problems we had as explained above. For this reason, the rating is low. Not happy that a call to BJ's resulted in an "you are on your own to resolve this" attitude either--we just acted graciously, tipped the matre'd at the end, when many others did not, and did our best to help my husband eat.

very beautiful city, very long bus ride to Peggy's cove, would have liked more time there

Pros: ship great, crew superb, accommodations spacious for a cruise ship

Cons: husband in wheelchair, swallowing problems, booked 1 year in advance- they would not give us the early seating we requested, and had booked. Called BJ's from ship, they would not help us either.
