First cruise, enjoyed it a lot. Already planning the next one.

This is the worst cruise we have ever been on. We were not even greeted by the Carnival employees when we first boarded the ship. On every other cruise we have been on your family was greeted and welcomed aboard the ship. You had to wait in long lines at the elevators because no one knew you had to push the button for each member in your party. We had to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs due to the lines at the elevator. The food was awful. We spent more time in the bathroom due to upset stomachs from the food. We sat down for our dinner the first night and my husband tried asking questions about the menu. We felt rushed and our questions were not welcomed. The first meal delivered tasted awful. My husbands steak tasted like metal. We were told the food the first night was the best and wouldn't get any better. Well that didn't leave us with a good feeling. My husband requested a second meal option which was worse than the first. When we talked to our server about that he explained to us that we could request an additional meal but we would be charged?? We have never experienced that on any other cruise we have been on. We were also told we could order one of the better meals but of course there would be a charge??? How does Carnival think that is acceptable?? This was a nickel and dime cruise. Carnival tried to get more money out of us for everything. There are not many activities offered and a lot of them had an additional charge. The disembarkation process was so messy. On other cruises you leave your luggage outside your room after 10 or 11 and the cruise employees move them while most people are sleeping. During this cruise you were asked to leave it outside your room between 8-10. While we were on our way to the evening (9:30) show we saw everyone's luggage in the hallways, near elevators and throughout the entire cruise. It was so messy. The worst part of this cruise was trying to talk with guest services. We had a very minor problem on a Disney cruise several years ago. It wasn't even a problem with the cruise but their employees went out of their way to correct the problem. We received a bag of candy, popcorn and assorted treats. We also received a really nice apology letter on our bed that same day. The problem with Disney was so minor but the PROBLEMS with Carnival were many and major. Instead of anyone assisting us we were left feeling like we were bothering the associates and the problem was passed on from one employee to another. We spoke with guest services and the associate was so unpleasant. We requested a number to call and instead of having our problem resolved right there we were denied a number to call. We were finally given a number by a different associate but it was only the 1-800-carnival number. We spent time on our vacation calling that number and explaining everything to be told guest services should have assisted us. We were also told they couldn't do anything on their end because we were still on the cruise. We were given an email to send out complaint. We spent more time sending all our information to that email to receive an auto response. That email stated it would take up to 45 days to receive a response back. We are now home and even after calling and emailing Carnival we have still not heard back from anyone. I am not sure how that is considered good customer service.

This was not the Carnival cruise experience for which I had hoped. While some staff were warm and welcoming, many were apathetic. I don't know if this is because they are drained or some other reason, but it left me feeling not well attended to as a guest much of the time. The overall experience felt highly stressful too much of the time starting with embarkation day which was disorganized and took far too long. The bed in my cabin was so hard as to make my first night one of my worst night's of sleep ever. The food was often disappointing for me and others in my family. So much so that my husband and daughter didn't even want to eat in the main dining room most of the time. However, specialty dining options cost extra. This leads to the cruise experience feeling like a big money grab. The free coffee in the buffet area upset my stomach so badly that I was forced to pay for the specialty coffee just so that I would not get sick! That should not be so on a cruise! Lines to get into shows were ridiculous, so we missed out on many things. We were put in a dangerous embarkation situation in Saint John because there was not enough staff monitoring things. We were literally almost crushed by passengers coming up the escalator. Crew monitoring would have eliminated that risk. To top it off, we all came back with COVID. No mitigation of risk whatsoever on this ship. Don't cruise with anyone at high risk. I will stop there. I could say more, but I just want to put Carnival (and perhaps all cruising) behind me. That makes me sad because I have loved cruising in the past.

Excellent food good service and ship was beautiful. The 2 shows very good Very disappointed in the cabin with a bunk bed. I will definitely keep this in mind if I sail again.

We recently enjoyed a 5 day cruise to Canada. Sail days were rainy, but there was plenty to be entertained by on the ship. Port days were perfect. Great weather, beautiful sights. The new Venezia liner is beautiful to see and explore.

Will never do this ship again, too over crowded, need to send it back, this ship not great for NEW YORK, please bring back any other ship.

It was our first cruise ever! Actually our Honeymoon after being married for 32 years. We love EVERY minute of it!

We took our mom on this cruise for her 90th birthday. There were fourteen of us. We had a blast.

The people on ship were friendly. I enjoyed Family Feud, bingo, karaoke and 80s party. I loved movie night. I played in the casino. It had an adult only area( sauna/ pool). I enjoyed the comedy events.

Overall we had a great vacation we were with a large group of friends a vacation is what you make of it. However they really need to look into the food situation no one should have to pay for specialty dining to get a good meal. (We did the hibachi food was excellent best meal all week) The ship is beautiful not a typical Carnival Ship but the staff was excellent and made it fun.

I enjoyed everything about this cruise. The food was great, the staff was friendly and the entertainment was superb. There was plenty to do onboard. The ports were very nice with lots to do and shopping. Half Moon Cay was the best with the beach party and BBQ. I would recommend this cruise to anyone that likes a good time.

the all cruse was great all activities were nicely done the restaurant was the vest service, yes need more Hispanic music

The Carnival Venezia is a great ship to travel if you want a convenient trip to the Caribbean from New York City. The food, room, and entertainment were excellent. The ship has Italian decor with pillars and marble with Venice as the inspiration. I specially loved the Artisanal Deli and Pizza Cafe late at night.

Very DISAPPOINTING! This ship, this crew highlights Carnival’s decline. After 7 cruises, this cruise will be the last one that we will take with Carnival.

The cruise was absolutely worth every penny we spent!!! We had a wonderful time and will definitely do it again soon!!!

The cruise was fun because of what you make it. This ship was to small design and not worth it compared to others.

swimming pool to smll alwys over crawdle nd i coundnt get in ones in the 8 day i ws there always pack and the children were there with out there parents it need to be more orgnized in that area

While our part has a great time, the multiple fights/altercations and lack of control of throngs of children was very off putting. Cruises in numerous other lines multiple times and NEVER witnessed the behaviors we saw on this ship. Not sure I’ll be back on carnival again.
