Overall the cruise was great, good food, entertainment and staff. The only drawbacks for us were the pool and the kids club.

I love the crew members the cruise was fantastic I love ever minute of it.

Our only issue was disembarkation at the private island......somewhat disorganized and a huge delay due to poor communication of instructions.

We have sailed Carnival in the past and this was a disappointment. The ship is beautiful and the staff was great, but it was missing the Carnival feel. Service was slow and in some areas non existent. I am hoping this will be solved in the future since we understand it is a "new" ship, currently it is below expectations. It is even causing us to reassess cruise lines in the future.

Cruisers will eventually catch on If you keep on lowering service and quality while increasing fares.

This is the Costa ship brand from Europe, with the Costa logo. If should have been refaced before sailing. It is very compartment blocked off and segregated. the worst ship I ever been on.

My 19 year old daughter was in tears multiple times. My 21 year old son was so pissed off at times at the poor service and lines that he wanted to fly home on his own. After waiting on a line for burgers for 45 minutes, I was given hockey pucks and was told that is the only way they make the burgers (the day before however, that was not the case).

Unfortunately we have to do it again in August but If you can skip this ship, not Carnival others do so, If not you just going to have to make due.

Beautiful ship. Disappointing food and service. Overcrowded and understaffed.

Had a fantastic time, can't wait to go on the next one. Loved the ship, the staff, the food and the entertainment. Also, the security was good for any incidents that may arise. Their presence made us feel safer.

It was very good. Beautiful ship. It was the maiden voyage so some things were a little unorganized.

The ship was nice, but the way the dining was done was horrible. The buffet was lacking varíety. The restaurant was barely open for breakfast or lunch. Certain days it was closed. Day time activities were terrible and not interesting. The spa was lacking a steam room and prices were ridiculously high for services. The shopping on board was mediocre. We hated having to reserve everything on the phone. Shows, dining etc.

I enjoyed both the ship and the itinerary. The main disappointment was that they wanted money for flavoured teas, such as Earl Gray or Camomile. I know that I could buy a pack for a couple of Euros in any port of call, but it just felt wrong to be charged money for a tea bag on a cruise ship. And I missed the lack of an inside cigar lounge. A pizza place open till four in the morning was a big plus. Having a unique port of Gibraltar was also a big plus.

This could have been the best cruise ever, but for the food and food service. They ruined 14 days on this ship. There were a few waiters here and there that were good, but mostly it was just so terribly slow that by the end of the cruise most diners were just going to the Lido (why wait hours for food that is of no better quality than the buffet) and the dining room was mostly empty.

For a maiden voyage, our experience on the Carnival Venezia was very positive. The cruise director, MarQ, is excellent, and all staff members were very conscientious about pleasing the passengers in every way. I personally would have preferred more of the Costa flavor, but Carnival is obviously trying to entertain an American clientele now, and they do a fine job.

Truly enjoyed the Carnival Italian Cruise fun! Sailing out and into NYC was very cool, don’t sleep in while sailing back into NYC it was so amazing!

Trivia games were all fun. We enjoyed the shows and most of the comedians.

For some unknown reason embarkation as it pertained to getting on ship was untypically chaotic. Food in MDR was very good except for the 2nd elegant night. Calamari was horrible and Prime Rib I think was Roast beef. On the tough side. Room was well maintained Entertainment was very good Seas were choppy but bearable. Favorite Bar, Carnavale, and Best Bartender Savio. He is however moving to Serenity. Worth a visit for sure. Dominican Republic do city sights and Ocean World tour. Very good cruise. 4th time on this ship

One of my favorite ships for sure... Very clean.... Great crew.... Food in MDR was very good..... Highly recommend this ship for a wonderful Cruise just don't do a short one or you won't have a good time
