The fact that this was our first cruise played a huge role in my reviews. We didn't know how things worked, and at most roadblocks, there was was no one there to give us any sort of direction.
Embarkation
3 out of 5
very busy, unorganized
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
3 out of 5
lemonade, 24/7 froyo, and pizza option were the best. The food was hit and miss, either very tasty or super bland/watery. We loved that at most times you could get food, even if it wasnt during a normal meal time.
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
all pools were heated....on a tropical island cruise; so the only people who swam were kids. The majority of the ativities offered were to get you to buy something-gems, artwork, watches, bingo cards, stuffed animals, jewlery, photo package, alcohol, spa services, and cruisewear (carnival sponsored tees, bags, cups, etc.). There were not any just for fun, family friendly, activities on the ship like we expected.
Entertainment
1 out of 5
The first 3 comedians we saw were terribly crude and inappropriate. The "shows" offered were a rock concert and a girl from Britans Got Talent. Also, it was difficult to make it to events when they were pretty stacked up, with overlapping times.
Children's Programs
i didnt bring my children.
Service and Staff

Edy was amazing! He had a fabulous attitude the entire cruise, he was super friendly, he went out of his way to serve us and make sure we had all that we needed every day, and he was intentional about greeting us every time he saw us, which made us feel special!
Ship Quality

ships layout was nice, organized. The only thing we REALLY disliked is that smoking is banned everywhere, except that they had a smoking casino directly in the middle of the ship. This made no sense, as the smelled carried down the halls of the 4th floor, as well as through the entire mid section of the ship on floors 3-5!
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
the entire room was great, great size, nice bathroom space, loved having a bathtub, and the window.....the window added so much to the natural light, the comfort of room (not feeling claustrophobic), and the beauty, regardless of the fact that we were stuck on a ship!
We always do our activities on port days. Days on ship are more kick back relax have someone cook and clean for you kinda days. Do a few shows or just chill. Pools with kids allowed are not appealing to me ,the warm water was probably P. The spas on most ships have hot tubs or Thalasso pools that are awesome and quiet at an extra charge.Spa passes are worth the extra.
Trust every cruise u go on you get a different experience, so please don't take this one as if this is the way all cruise ships are.
Welcome to the cruise life, and thanks for sharing.
