Review summary

Do not get an aft cabin if you are in the lower floors, it’s a nightmare. Also if you can. Skip St. Lucia and Barbados. Every time I go there it’s raining and everything looks bad.

This cabin is on the second floor, aft of the ship. Every time the ship would arrive into port, the whole cabin would shake violently. Everything would open and things would fall to the floor. Beware of this!!!

Ship tip

Do not take any aft cabins if you get woken up easily! You will be woken up by the engines going on reverse when arriving into port

We always stay on the lowest floor, but mid-ship. It has the least movement, and you avoid the noise of the engines.

This cabin issue is reflective of the low floor not just the fact it’s aft. Sounds like poor cabin choice vs expectations.

St Lucia is probably the best port in the Caribbean with Barbados being a close second, HOWEVER it does require some planning of course. And rain actually happens everywhere.

Thank you for the tip. We once were under the galley and didn't get any sleep the entire cruise. The noise started exactly at 0100 and went all night long.

Love St Lucia and Barbados. Definitely amazing places to visit. You can't give a port a bad review because it rains! It rains every where.
