Review summary

Room service food horrible! Construction on the boat no slide no pool that kids could enjoy..I was not told there would be construction . Not relaxing at all. To hear hammering an sanding grinding all day every day! Drink package is a joke. If your not sitting at bar good luck getting a drink. Not kid friendly at all unless you wanna drop your kids off in day care, No thank you I wanted to be with my kids. But between the fights at pool an drinks no way too.. because one pool was close no place for kids to enjoy! I would not have went if I would have know I had to deal with my kids not getting to play outside. I know carnival don’t care my 2000$ means nothing. Worst vacation ever

There was some construction this past week but the slide was open.

They do construction on these ships all the time during cruising schedule. They sometimes have to in order to keep them in top order. My last cruise they had the jogging and outside exercise area shut down because they were pulling up the rubber flooring. They were also welding, sanding and hammering. Some things like a slide that is not safe for children to use would be repaired as soon as possible. This is common with cruising.

Took my family on Valor in August. It was a first cruise for my kids and little grandsons. They all had a ball. And ... We had Cheers and zero issues with getting drinks. Was the slide closed the entire cruise? My 9 year old grandson loved that thing. If you had that many issues onboard, you should have gone to guest services with your complaints.

Did you ho to front desk or call to complain and see what the "construction" was it might not of been construction at all. They could of compensated you if you were upset with the cruise. When we went it was so loud in our statroom it sounded like a concert in our room all night from a band so called and they moved us to a different room and problem was solved

i seriously doubt they were having construction. they would have to dry dock the boat. we heard noise for a little while on our 1st cruise and people complained saying it was construction. come to find out all they were doing was working on the anchor when we stopped at a port.

I don't know about this one. I'm not saying there weren't hiccups but this is a little much. Especially the not kid friendly stuff. Dr suess parades and breakfast, arcade, games,pools, camp carnival, movies.......plus the food they bring to the room is the same you get anywhere else on the ship. I'm not saying this happened but I see some people have a few issues and the whole cruise turns into a disaster

I find this very hard to believe. They usually dry dock ships for construction and there are multiple pools on the ship, as well as mini golf and deck games. Besides, BrileeMarie’s profiles shows 0 cruises.
