Carnival Valor Cruise Review to Caribbean - Eastern
Review SummaryThe itinerary was great. The staff was great. They did their jobs. The ship is old and dated. Carnival was trying to sell something the entire time. It wears on your nerves after a while. The day of debarkation we were told to leave our room at 8:30AM. We expected to be off the ship within an hour. They did not call us until about 12PM. We sat there with nothing to do\, no refreshments\, and no food. No apology was made as well. We ended up spending $250 on internet\, so be prepared if you have critical work/emails while on the cruise. There are other hidden costs as well. The ship advertised a Japanese restaurant but there is none. Besides pizza\, buffet and main dining room\, there is a steakhouse and that is it. No other dining options.

Pros: Itinerary. We stopped at 4 islands and all 4 were great.
Cons: The ship was dated. Carpet torn in places with stains. The staff cleaned the ship daily\, but I still felt like I was staying at a mid-price motel not a mid-priced hotel or better.
