It was alright at best

Sail Date: November 01, 2014

Reviewed: 2 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ports of call were great and the crew were all very nice\, but you get what you pay for. Our stateroom had broken cabinets (which were repaired)\, our balcony was rusted\, and the ship was in need of some general TLC. The food was not very good the entire time and it was many of the same options. We also went on a holiday week\, a huge mistake! If you are traveling as a young couple I wouldn't suggest Carnival. Most events (and other cruisers) were skewed to small children or older (50+) people.

Pros: Ports of Call

Cons: Food\, A lot of Children\, smoking

Recommends Carnival Valor? No.

Ship Quality
Clean\, but dated. Peeling laminate in some areas.
Food and Dining
But the steakhouse was great!
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Skewed much younger or much older than us.
