The ship was fine. While the decor is a bit dated, it was clean and very well maintained. The staff was friendly and efficient.

Food and Dining

Food in the dining room was good. We didn't eat a lot at the self-serve buffet area but when we did it was also good. Room service is great and very fast, although limited to breakfast, sandwiches, salads and desserts. I highly recommend room service for breakfast (or at least coffee.

The only shows we went to were at the comedy club, although there were lots of other options and things to do. The first two comedians were awesome - very funny. The third one was pretty bad. We didn't make it to see the fourth one.

Service and Staff

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our steward was great!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a balcony stateroom on deck 10 (Panorama). Definitely the way to go. The balcony is worth it and the location put us near pool, Serenity deck, etc.

Pros: Terrific itinerary

Cons: Having to sit with three other couples at dinner

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
