This is the 2nd time we have been on Valor (2 years in a row). We enjoy the ship. Our ship was late getting in, so embarkation was chaotic. First time on Carnival that we have had a less-than-stellar experience. (Found out later, there was someone who'd passed away on the ship so debarkation was late. Can't really blame anything on that.)

Once we got on the ship, though, everything was as we've come to expect on Carnival. Beautiful ship, clean, lunch waiting for us. Our rooms and luggage are always ready well before muster.

Service is exceptional. The ship is well maintained and clean. There is always someone cleaning and never too busy to say \"Hello\" and \"Have a great day!\"

The food was good. Visit Scarlett's Steakhouse for a special experience. If you go on the first day, you get a free bottle of wine!

Ports were great and so were our afternoons on sea days by the pool. We came off the ship relaxed and regenerated--which is exactly what vacations are for, so mission accomplished!

You won't be sorry booking any itinerary on Carnival Valor. She's a great ship and so are her crew!

Balconies were sold out at the time of booking so we got an oceanview room. We ended up loving our location (1422) and would so do it again!

Pros: Everything but embarkation

Cons: Embarkation (see review)

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
