The ship in itself was nice, it was highlighted with American decor and history, it was very nice. The lunch staff in the dining room was not that friendly, in fact we felt we were disturbing. The plates and cups on the lido deck were dirty. When I would pick up a plate I always wiped it down and always found it was dirty, same with the cups. Very disappointed.

Pros: Ports of call and spending time with friends and family

Cons: dirty plates\, dirty cups\, horrendous embarkation process over 4 hours\, late departure\, late arrivals and did not get to spend time planned on island and plans were cancelled.

Recommends Carnival Valor? No.
