A relaxing, fun time

Sail Date: May 01, 2012

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Large Group

Room Type: Inside

The ship was a fun, clean, well maintained place with many activities. There was an abundance of food, deck chairs, pools, hot tubs, and games (basketball, volleyball, mini golf, ping pong, waterslide, etc)

Pros: Abundant food, fun atmosphere

Cons: The trip was a little long for a first time cruiser

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

After a few days on the ship, I got a little cabin fever. But there are always things to do on the ship. Every day they had a different schedule of activities and shows, from learning how to dance, to folding towel animals, to a scavenger hunt, to a murder mystery, etc.
Cabin / Stateroom
We were in an interior stateroom. It was clean, comfortable, and bigger than I expected. Our stewardess cleaned the room twice daily, and there was a plethora of clean, dry towels.
Ship Quality
Food and Dining
They change the menu every day (lobster, filet minion, chocolate buffet, etc)
Service and Staff
The entire ship staff is amazing. They work hard to give us a great, stressfree, comfortable, and fun vacation.
