8 Night Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: April 28, 2012
Ship: Carnival Valor
Cabin Type: Inside
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 5 years ago
The ship's layout is similar to the Legend that we sailed on last year. Very nice and clean.

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food is great and it's hard to not eat all the time. We enjoyed the different themes of food (e.g. Italian, Med, Mexican).

Entertainment

3 out of 5
This cruise was not as good as our previous one. The comedians were just okay, and the magician was a disappointment - he took way too long to perform his tricks and his big tricks were performed with several lights turned off. However, the juggler was amazing.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Carnival's employees are top notch. They make a huge effort to remember our names and ensure that our needs are met.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
This "Average" rating is more on us than Carnival. This was our second cruise and we didn't realize that a cabin above the theater would be noisy into the late evening - made it hard to sleep.

Pros: Personal Attention

Cons: Magician

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
