Pretty Good Cruise

Sail Date: December 18, 2011

Reviewed: 4 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Ship was nice, especially the Ivanhoe Theater.

Pros: Jamaica and snorkeling in the Cayman Islands

Cons: Too short time at ports

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Food and Dining
Did not realize that by choosing open dining period I would have to eat all dinners in the lincoln Dining Room. Preferred the Washington which we used for lunch.Unfortunately the lady seating us evidently did not like us because she went out of her way to seat us in the worst spot even though there were plenty of good tables open.
Entertainment
Majic show was pretty bad, Both comedians were great. The singers were top rated and the dance shows/routines were pretty good.
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Cabin steward was really nice as were almost all of the ship crew and staff.
Ship Quality
