Compared to other cruise ship food you will be disappointed. The fish and fruit always tasted a little old, the meat was never cooked right (with the exception of the Scatlett restaurant steak were you have to pay $30 per person to go, but worth every penny)

It's only amazing if you actually leave the Disney compound built by Carnival

Pros: The destinations. Excellent! Roatan was probably our favorite, we booked a local cruise (I.e. Not with the cruise line which means you have to walk 6 min outside the gates) but it was excellent, safe & we avoided the crowds of cruise terminal & waiting for everyone with half the price!

Cons: Carnival food & service is probably one of the worst our of all it's competitors.

Recommends Carnival Valor? No.
