Valor is very patriotic, lots of "heroes" and red, white and gold throughout. Very clean and well kept. Service tries very hard to please, and cabin steward are courteous and anxious to attend to your every needs. Overall, we found the staff very hospitable. However the food @ all the restaurants were bland and boring, the buffet has the same boring tasteless food every night wit a few exceptions, Ate in the dc dinning room 3times and a few plates had to be returned, bcaz the dish was cold and I was informed that its pre made, The food, overall, was disgusting. Drinks! where do I start, the tab water tat was served was un drinkable, way to much bleach, the drink machines said orange juice but it tasted more like cheap watered down tang, the lemonade was okay, felt that the prices of bottle water n other drinks were too high, so I was stuck wit eating lots of fruits if I wanted to survive. Water in the shower needs to be tested n treated daily, I ended up wit a rash after the 3rd day and it only got worse and all i could think about is when will I get off. Oh and i will never make reservation thru crusieonly.com/ importing details about this trip/ship was left out(TENDERING) never heard of it! would have made other arrangement, lines to get of the ship was unheard of, wish i knew dis ah head of time,I'm so disappoint that I cant cont. but dis will be my last trip wit carnival
