Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Service was first rate and food was terrific. Picky eaters and snobs would love it
Cabin / Stateroom
Our room had a balcony with plenty of space for 2 people. The TV was older style and should be updated.
Service and Staff
Live comedy and singers that were terrific. Enjoyed most of the shows.
Belize City, Belize
The tender from the ship is a pain. Felt stressed about making our meeting time for the zipline and cave tubing excursion we booked through The Ecological tours company waited for us and even shuttled another group that was later to the bus. So don't stress if you are running a little late. For the tender, get to the Eagles lounge at 8 am to get your tender number. Carnival has their excursion passengers get off the ship first. The total time after getting your ticket and getting to the port is about an hour.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Did the Sting Ray city excursion I booked through It was nice. The Sting rays are very gentle and rub right against you. Never felt uncomfortable with them. The water is just amazingly blue. Snorkel or scuba diving would have been great or a beach day to enjoy this water
Don't Miss: Sting Rays
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Best overall beach and water. Hired a taxi with an escort for $10 per person. Drove us around and stayed with us all day. The beach and snorkeling were great. We went to the free West Bay Beach and enjoyed it all. Parasailing was a big hit for the kids from 6 to 56.
Cozumel, Mexico
Wend to the paradise beach resort. It was OK, but would not go again. They had lots of floating rafts for the kids to jump on and enjoy, so they had a great time. Snorkeling was not good here. The water was clear, but so many activities kept the fish away. Choose elsewhere for snorkeling. $2 for a beach chair and use of facilities and $12 for all the toys in the ocean. They do expect you to purchase food and drinks there which you want to anyway.
