A Great Vacation

Sail Date: May 29, 2011

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

My husband and I had a wonderful time. The only true disappointment was Belize. We would stay on the ship next time. Overall, the food choices were wonderful but the quality could have been better. Scarlett's was a romantic dinner venue but the food did not wow us. There were always activities on the ship -- we would love to see a swimming pool on the Serenity Deck!

Pros: Valor was exceptional

Cons: Belize was disappointing

Balcony is the only way to go.
Belize City, Belize
This port did not appear safe. The Mayan Ruins were okay but also questionably safe. Be careful here or, better yet, enjoy the ship this day.
Cozumel, Mexico
Perfect place for beach and shopping.
Don't Miss: Isle de la Pasion -- except Twister is wild, use the Water Taxi instead.
George Town, Grand Cayman
I wish that I could move to George Town!
Don't Miss: Seven Mile Beach
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Do not buy the sky lifts or pay for chairs. The beach is a mere minutes from the lifts and the chairs are free. You only need to rent the clam covers and scuba equipment.
