A Great Cruise

Sail Date: May 15, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

We recently sailed on the Carnival Valor. The ships design and overall "fun-ness" was great. Both our turn-down service and our resturant service were excellent. However, when we needed to get help from the onboard medical center we were less than impressed.

Pros: Room Turn-down service and availability of help from the ship's crew.

Cons: Medical help. My wife was told to suck it up when she asked for some help with her 2nd/3rd degree burns from too much sun.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Cabin / Stateroom
Service and Staff
Everyone with the exception of the medical staff met and exceeded our expectations. Even the cruise director was easily accesible and always willing to help.
Entertainment
Belize City, Belize
Mahogany Bay, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Humid and over-crowded. Beaches were dirty with trash overflowing from trash cans, beer bottles on the beach, and gas and oil smells coming from the water.
George Town, Grand Cayman
Great Beach.
Cozumel, Mexico
Amazing Beach activities.
Don't Miss: Paradise Beach
