Traveled As: Singles/Friends

Review SummaryI have sailed on many ships. (I sailed on the Queen Mary in my youth!) I can honestly say that the Valor exceeded my expectations in every way. The dining
and quality of the food was super. If you like gourmet meals then the Valor is for you. I had the best roasted pumkin soup with Thai seasoning....and the escargot were the best. So from lobster tail to sea bass...the meals were wonderful. I ran a 4 star Inn for ten years. Take my word for it. The ship was clean and well maintained. Spotless. Our balcony stateroom was spacious and had all the amenities one would like. The activities on board were varied. I
especially enjoyed the musical at mid week. The Valor dancers and singers are superb. THe show was great...constumes, music and sets were of professional quality...If I were a Broadway producer I would begging them to
on the road! The casino was spacious and fun. No Smoking area in the Casino was a nicer area for me. I enjoyed my time there.
There are many areas of the ship like the variety of shops and places to go for special activities that make it easy to play and plan a day of fun. I liked the Spa experience since I never had one before....i am 77 years old...yes I did go to the Spa ...loved it. and I would say to the reader...go for it. It was wonderful.
I had help boarding and de boarding. Since I am handicapped it was great to have the crew give me a hand. I wanted to again mention the cusine, the spaces to relax and the wonderful crew on this ship. I never met the captain of the Valor. I wish him to know that he has a great ship and wonderful crew.
Thank you for the best cruise! I hated to leave the ship.
Food and Dining
see my comments above. You will love the food on the ship. NO CROWDING and lots of variety. Check out the deli....I cannot say enough.
show times and the casino....and then of course my first visit to a Spa....a great week.....
