As a single parent Carnival is a great cruise line for families. There is camp for the kids that gives parents free time. There are even planned activities for kids from 12 to 17. Both my sons 11 and 13 loved it. All the crew are friendly. The waiters at dinner even dance and sing!

Our waiter Andrew went beyond because he knew I loved the choc melting cake and couldn't eat the other choc cakes because of the berry issue so he gave me the recipe for the cake to take home.

They need to make the connecting doors more sound proof! We didn't know the people on the other side of it but could hear them clearly and never heard the people on the side without that door.

Great taxidriver who gave an island tour with a stop at the west end beach for $45 total for 3 people about an 2 hour tour. Feet-o is the man
Don't Miss: west end

The pirate advanture was well worth the money! The margaretaville here actually has a waterslide and pool for everyone to play in. Makes life for parents good (they can eat and drink in peace)

Pros: the great staff

Cons: the berries on all the cakes not fair to choc lovers who are allergic to berries

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
