Good time, good value.

Ships decor was love it or hate it for most. I thought it was cool. Our cabin was on deck 10 forward, a great location as it was close to the theater upper pool deck and such. We had one table lamp in our stateroom not working which was quickly corrected by the maintenance staff. Service was very good overall. Our room steward and room service were very prompt when service was requested. The bartenders by the pools could have used an extra person during peak times. They would get swamped with the afternoon pool and lunch crowds.
While the ship was very clean the smell of cigaret smoke was very strong in public areas. Our cabin was not bad. We took advantage of the balcony and door open when possible to enjoy the fresh air.
Furniture in the public areas, dinner and lobby need recovering or replacement.
We had a good time on board and at the ports of call.

Pros: The service from the staff.

Cons: Ship is showing its' age.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
