Review summary

Nice boat w/ nice American history theme. Nice public areas. Too many kids running around. Teens were obnoxious late at night running around. Kids had good time though. Nice ports of call. Staff overall is very nice and attentive. Our first Carnival cruise. Definitely does not compare to Royal Carribean but good value for $$$. Be very aware of where your stateroom is located. We were just below teen disco and the loud thumping every night until midnite was a bit much. Plus don't get room close to elevators/stairs either.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

Nice place to shop w/ excellent deals/prices. Did not do an excursion in this port.

Cozumel, Mexico

Did not like beach at all except that it was "all inclusive". Beach sand was really coarse/grainy and water was full of coral.
Don't Miss: Shopping is awesome.

George Town, Grand Cayman

Did Stingray and Dolphin swim. Kids absolutely loved it. Water is amazing color of turquoise. Enjoyed it very much.
Don't Miss: Stingrays. Got to hold it once I got over my fear.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Most beautiful place I have seen. Of note, we drove by houses on way to beach and you realize how poorly these people live. Tabyana Beach was breath taking.
Don't Miss: Tabyana Beach

Pros: Staff, cleanliness, cost

Cons: Too many uncontrolled kids running around, esp. teens
