The "fun" ship certainly is..

Sail Date: March 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship is older but very well maintained. The theme is a attemp of a modern twist on historic Americana. We have been on other cruises (Carnival) where we have noticed things broken or worn, but not on this ship. We did see the maintenance staff repairing things throughout the cruise but it never got in the way of the passengers.

Pros: Posrt of call

Cons: People wearing baseball hats and shorts to dinner

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

George Town, Grand Cayman
Reef and Wreck snorkling IN Georgetown!! That one is the best. There is another one on the other side of the island which is OK, but not as good. When we purchased the excursion, we didn't know there was more than one, so we were a little dissapointed as the one IN Georgetown is sooo good.
Don't Miss: Dutch Chocolate ice cream from hagan daaz!! You can only get it there. Not in the States.
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Not third world, but close to it. Stick with the excursions through Carnical.
Belize City, Belize
Cozumel, Mexico

Don't Miss: Nochi Cocum (spelling?) beach resort. Look it up on
