Fun Excursions!

Sail Date: April 01, 2010

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Oceanview

It was a beautiful ship. Very clean. All staff cordial and polite. Large Movie screen. Separate adult pool and whirlpools and children's pool and whirlpools.

Pros: The excursions, dolphin ride, swimming with the stingrays (Stingray City), para-sailing and the Mayan Ruins in Belize. However, it looks like the ruins in Cozumel might be larger.

Cons: The time limit at each port. It takes time to get off the ship with alot of people going ashore. Sometimes you need to take another boat ashore. And more time to go through customs check and re-board. Also, each port has the same stuff for sale, just a different name on the items. The bill.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Ship Quality
Food and Dining
Different ethnic options. Ex. French, Stirfry, Deli, Pizza Bar, plus a buffet and sit down dinner option.
Cabin / Stateroom
Bigger than I expected, but I heard they were very small
Service and Staff
Our main housekeeper, very friendly and went out of his way to make sure we were happy.
Excellent variety. I expected the quality to be better.
