7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: April 26, 2009
Ship: Carnival Valor
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Singles/Friends
Reviewed: 7 years ago
the ship is very nice. The dining staff is responsible for too many tables. The table settings were incomplete and the courses arrived simultaneously rather than separately. As previously stated, debarcation was a disaster.

Service and Staff

While the cabin staff and dining staff were very friendly and courteous, going beyond the call of duty to be helpful, the staff who, I presume, are under the direction of the cruise director, were rude during the debarcation debacle.

West Bay is the place to go to. Don't bother with West Bend.

Pros: Ship was lovely; food wqs good; cabin staff was excellent.

Cons: Most disorganized debarcations I have ever witnessed. The staff were rude and chose to blame the guests rather than realizing that they were giving conflicting directions.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
