The ship is nice. The decor is a little over the top. Drink prices are too high. Soda pop should be free as it is a non-alcholic beverage. Bar service did not warrant 15% manditory tip. We had rough seas and I thought the boat would be more stable. I did not like scare tatics and the constant desire to get you to add to your on-board tab. Honduras and Belize had hostile merchants outside of the dock areas. Did not enjoy either of these ports personally. While we did not take a ship sponsored excursion the feedback from others on the boat was luke warm. We also had others agree with our disappointment with food quality.

Recommends Carnival Valor? No.
