Better Than Expected

Sail Date: September 01, 2009

Reviewed: 7 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very nice, food at all time of the day, however average in guality. Always something to do and the shows were good to very good. The Cruise director Gary was very personable.

Pros: The ship was beautiful and very impressive

Cons: Excursions very expensive

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Food and Dining
Was expecting more at dinner but the buffet was just as good as in the dining halls.
Entertainment
Ship Quality
Cabin / Stateroom
Very large and roomy for a stateroom.
Service and Staff
Always a hello and friendly face waiting to help. Just once, at the Customer Services area, where they should be the most accomodating, did we have someone who was obviously wanting to just pacify us and move us along. He didn't really solve our problem.
