We have been on many cruises, and really enjoyed this cruise a lot. The ship is beautiful, even though it is a large ship it never really felt like it. The wait staff at every meal was marvelous, very attentive to each and every need. The food was fantastic, especially in the main dining room at dinner. We loved the "Carnival Classics" that were offered nightly, things like Shrimp Cocktail, Flat Iron Steak, and the Chocolate Melting cake for dessert. Each evening it was typical that we'd have 2-3 appitizers and more than one entree as how could we choose just one? Our cabin steward was wonderful as well. The entertainment on the ship was top notch. I can honestly say that we loved each nights entertainment, a highlight to our evening. The cruise director Tex was very entertaining as well. We loved his "Tex Messages" throughout the day. There are only a few negatives for our group. First, it is unfortunate that they can't some way have a smoking/non smoking side for the cabins like they do on the outdoor decks. Our neighbors were evidently chain smokers and that made it a bit uncomfortable for us. Also, you'd be on your balcony wanting to enjoy your time and someone would light up and send us back into our cabin. I'd really like to see something changed regarding that issue. Also, the time at each port just seems like not near enough, plus of course the excursions you book on the cruise is priced very high. We were able to get our own tour in Hondorus for over 1/4th of what we'd have paid for the same tour from the cruise. That is really where the cruise line gets you. For mamy it is scary to not go through the cruise line, all the warnings of why you need to book with them, and unfortunatley some of the ports you really are forced to use their overpriced services.

The island has really grown. The snorkle tour offered on the ship is a 10 minute walk. Save your money, walk from the ship to the dive shop 2 blocks away, rent your own gear and dive on in. Great snorkling right there. We had our own snorkle gear with us so it was even cheaper!
Don't Miss: Snorkling

The shopping at the pier isn't the prices you'd think it should be. Grab a taxi and get out of the area. Go to a resort and buy a drink and enjoy their beach.

We went outside the gate area and got our own van with a driver and guide. $20 per person got us into an all inclusive resort for the day, tour of island, and our guide and driver never left our side!
Don't Miss: Snorkling at the beautiful reef right off the beach!

Again we had a beach day and snorkling. Not a favorite port
Don't Miss: Again we snorkled, it wasn't as good as Roatan

Pros: The fantastic service

Cons: The time frame at most ports of call
