Show variety could use improvement. More dance or magic shows versus three (3) comedians. Liked the "special invitations/acknowledgment" for having been a previous traveler with Carnival cruise lines. Booked cruise through travel agent - wasn't told of large tour groups and not only that, but the ship was fully booked, which, at times, made it a little uncomfortable - it's good that the ship is as large as it is; otherwise, would have felt too crowded.

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Food - ate breakfast & dinner most frequently - lunch, mostly pizza - hamburgers were a favorite of our group. Dinner - most nights, good; could have more lobster and fish over some of the other choices. Service was good; at times, felt a little rushed though. Dinner shows entertaining - some guests preferred to not experience these, nightly. Midnight buffets - tried one time, too full from dinner to enjoy but liked the option of more than one night to experience these. Self-serve ice cream/non-fat yogurt was a hit.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Entertainment - mentioned above, more variety would have been good but the dance shows were great. Bingo was fun - Renaldo, Asst. Cruise Director, was humorous, as was Darcy, Cruise Director.

Service and Staff

3 out of 5
Ship staff - room steward and dinner hosts were friendly / willing to assist - go above & beyond. Disappointed in friendliness of some of the pool side restaurant chefs, and also, surprisingly, the information desk hostesses.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Ship size - great / balcony door easy to open - other ships, door not as easy to open. Overall layout a little confusing. More hand wipes to prevent disease would have been good. Sailed other ships before that had more hand wipes to make you feel more at ease. Decor of ship beautiful. Liked that there were plenty of deck sun chairs - some ships don't have enough for everyone to use.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Stateroom - enjoyed that our room was upgraded from oceanview to balcony view without additional charge / nice surprise and the extra room was needed for three (3) people. Room decor was nice. Room steward did a great job of keeping us supplied with towels and keeping room neat/clean. Layout of room - for when there's more than two people, might be better to have a curtain that creates a "wall feeling" to give more privacy at night (some ships have this). Liked the roominess of the balcony. Room could have more electrical plug-in's. Great that the ship offers ironing access and washer/dryer machines / don't recall seeing this on other ships before.
3 out of 5
Jungle canopy tour - great but could have been longer given the 3 hrs roundtrip ride over.
3 out of 5
Beach, downtown.
3 out of 5
West Side park / beach pretty / monkeys comical.
3 out of 5
Sting rays / sea turtles.
