A great Cruise

Sail Date: February 17, 2008

Reviewed: 8 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was very clean. Staff very friendlyand helpful.
Only issue we has was that we told them we were travel agents and they did nothing extra for us at. Couldn't give us a handicap room for my 83 year old mother with a walker so we fought with the walker in and out of the room all week. Can't say they went out of their way to make up recommend their ship to our clients.

Pros: Food and shows

Cons: Too many pictures places and peopel in your face

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Ship Quality
Dining room a little hard to get through with a walker
Food and Dining
Food was great except for breakfast in the formal dining room.
We had some new poeple with us and thought we would have them experience breakfast in the dining room and no one was happy.
Cabin / Stateroom
Just hard to get a walker in and out and then no place for it once we got it in. Thank God we had a balcony.
Service and Staff
Staff was very helpful and freindly
Entertainment
All the entertainment was great except for the so called country singer. What a disappointment.
Cozumel, Mexico
Great shopping. Had been there before so did not take any tours. Did not eat on the island.
Don't Miss: Can't think of anything
Belize City, Belize
Went to the Myan ruins. IT was interesting. Did not eat on the island
Don't Miss: can't think of anything
George Town, Grand Cayman
No complaints and we do not eat on the islands
Don't Miss: Stingray experience ( I think it was this island we did it a couple of years ago)
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
Very poor country. We had a great tour with a great tour guide. Did not eat on this island
Don't Miss: Fantasy island
