Good Cruise-Bad airport

Sail Date: November 12, 2006

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Oceanview

The ship was very nice

Pros: The trip to Miami, to the ship and the cruise was great.

Cons: The disembarking at Miami was chaotic, the airport at Miami was Terrible, There was no-one to ask questions, stand in line 1 with baggage to get boarding pass, stand in line 2 to get baggage tags, stand in line 3 to put bags through security, stand in line 4 to get through passenger security, total

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!

Food and Dining
Very good service and food.
Cabin / Stateroom
Very nice
Service and Staff
Crew was a little slow to smile in the firsty three days but warmed after.
We missed having a Broadway type show each night. Comedian & Magicians are good for short shows before the main show but not in place of the main show.
Ship Quality
Nearly a new ship and fairly well kept.
Belize City, Belize
Very good snorkelling
Don't Miss: Just the snorkelling
George Town, Grand Cayman

Don't Miss: Stingray City
Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras
A very poor "city" which is somewhat depressing.
Don't Miss: Anything away from the city, Snorkelling
Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico
Another poor area but will develop as time goes on.
Don't Miss: Snorkelling
