Pack a small bag as a carry on with swim suits, sun block, motion medicine and any other essentials as your bags may not get to your room until nearly 6pm!! We did this, but other families in our group did not and their kids could not swim until 6pm because their swim suits were in their suit cases.

Did you eat to much & you hate the gym... Walk that track on the upper deck. There is something special about walking in the strong winds off the sea. The view will almost make you forget how many laps you've done. Before you know it your 2 mile work turns into 3 miles. Just enjoy!

Bring a big cup to take advantage of the free water, tea and lemonade so that you can take it with you because most of these stations are on the Lido deck.

One tip? Too Many to pick one. Try all the food, pack comfortable clothes and shoes, read your daily itinerary, go to everything even if it doesn't sound fun because it will be!

Guy's Burgers is the best fast food on the ship. The dining room food and staff are also outstanding, but don't skip Guy's, even if just for the fries. They are outstanding. The burgers here are not the traditional pre-frozen factory-formed patties. They are high quality and worth the calories!

Dress appropriately for formal dining. Pay your gratuities ahead of time, they work for it! Save extra money for the excursions! Save extra money for the deals on and off the ship. Don't stay in your room all day. Don't be on a diet whenever you are cruising, you will gain weight! Have fun!

Great captain and cruise director. Smooth sailing no rough seas. On time port docking and departure. Dinning food choices improved since our last cruise. Take the time to enjoy breakfast in the formal dinning area one morning. Excellent banana fosters and chocolate melting cake desserts.

We always carry our luggage on - we have never been able to purchase "faster to the fun" early - but with your own luggage = it speeds the process of unpacking and getting in vacation goove.

I had done a lot of research before my first cruise and always heard that the walls are metal, to bring magnetic hooks to hang your lanyard etc. The walls are not metal on the Triumph. The front door is however! We were able to hang a sign on our cabin door to mark it so that it was easy to find.
