Really enjoyed being papered and spoiled. I enjoyed the shows but they were pretty risque and mostly not appropriate for children. The first day was pretty crowded and not very organized and I wasn't sure if I would like it, but after the first day I loved it.
Very good for families. It isn’t Royal Caribbean, but neither was the price. Only disappointment was the premium Internet service, which was not functional. I needed it for business, but could rarly use it.
Overall, the cruise was fun and enjoyable. We were disappointed we were niot compensated with a fare settlement for the hassle we had embarking, but overall without including that issue, the cruise was good.
My cruise was great. I was with a family of 12 and we were a mix of seasoned cruisers and beginners. My major compliant was we purchases drink packages and we were aware that they end at 8 am on debarkation day, however; since the ship had technical difficulties and we were told we would not be arriving back until 10 pm that night the packages should have ended then. They did not, but ended at 8 am on our scheduled debarkation date and time. It was through no fault of the passengers that we were stuck on the ship, but we had to pay for all of our drinks for the next 10 to 12 hours.
We will book with another line. This was the worst ever. They need to retire this ship. We have been on a few cruises an I think this ship and crew needs to be junked. The singer didn't even know the words to the songs.. We will be switching cruise lines..
Overall a Wonderful Experience from the Food, Room, Entertainment, and Staff. I will travel with Carnival in the near future. I choose this particular ship based on other people experience. Yes we had to drive from Houston, but it was worth it. Thank you
Everything was GREAT, EXCEPT THE SUPER LONG, LONG LINES AT THE BUFFETS AND OTHER SANCKS PLACES, BUT THE WORST LINES WERE AT THE VERY DELICIOUS GUYS BURGER PLACE, you MUST have BIGGER places and longer serving FOOD HOURS, AS TO AVOID THE TERRIBLE WAITING LINES
I enjoyed the ports of call and this was definitely the time of year to go. i didn't "do my homework" and expected to see a small town when I went to Merida. It has a population of about one million people and has a lot to offer. I would definitely like to go back and spend more time there!
This was our first cruise so we really can’t compare it to anything. We had a great time and we will use Carnival for our next cruise. I wish there were better drink options. I do not drink alcohol but my spouse does. We did not take advantage of the drink package because we would both have to buy it.
Overall I don't feel I got a good value for the amount of money I spent both in onboard expenses as well as for the cruise itself. I wish that there were not so many hidden charges. I had some issues and wish they had been resolved a bit better.
it was nice but old, but the price was great so just don't set your expectations to high and you'll have fun.
I wish carnival would include the drinks in the cruises like Norwegian does. also when will these ships learn to discount the photos taken I would have bought some if they were $5 each not $21.
Over all, it was a trip to remember. We were with good friends, enjoyed the food, the entertainment and I even got a chance to relax on deck 11 a couple of days. Deck 11 is above all the partying so you can hear the music, but it's not crowded and people up there are just relaxing, too. The food was plentiful and I wish I could've eaten more of it. ;-) One thing they need to address is their app. I couldn't get that to work to save my life. It would have been very cool if it had. But we had no problems and look forward to doing it again.
We had a wonderful time. The services that were offer were great and the kids loved camp ocean. Our waiter and waitress Yasa,Yin, and Gusti were amazing. Food was was really good and eating areas were always clean. Turndown services were excellent.
We will definitely cruise on the Triumph again! We loved the crew, captain and all that was available to us! I would live it to be a smoke free cruise or at least move it to an area where you don't have to pass through.
