Review summary

Triumph was better than the Fantasy. That being said, we prefer larger ships. We would probably choose RC over Carnival next time because of ship size. Would like to point out that the staff was wonderful.

I decided to try Royal Caribbean this go around as well. Last time we were on the Carnival Triumph which is a fine ship I would say but I really have nothing to compare it to. I heard that Royal Caribbean ships were more upscale compared to Carnival.

Try a "Dream" Or "Vista" class ship. Dream, Magic, or Breeze in Dream Class. Vista or Horizon in Vista Class. They are considerably larger than the ships you have sailed on

I agree with you RC has bigger ships and are nice. I sailed once and came back to Carnival. I rather have my money to use on island fun not spent on ship. This is personal preference of course. Internet pricing high, no free way to iron if needed, pricing for bottled water if needed etc. I didn't think their food was better than Carnival either. That Johnny Rockets was average and upcharge as well. Vacation is what we make it though. Happy Sailing.
