Review Summary

This was our first cruise and definitely not our last. We had a wonderful time, even though weather did not cooperate. The first night and second day were rough sailing because of a tropical storm. Ports were reversed because of this also, and Carnival took care of changing our excursions to the other days, since we booked through them. We did the dolphin swim in Cozumel, which was the highlight of our trip, and Dzibilchaltun ruins in Progreso, which were interesting. The ship seemed very clean, all staff were friendly. Our steward, Larsen knew us by name when passing in the hall, and our waiter, Oliver, was excellent. My only issues were with WiFi. We planned to use chat option on the carnival hub app to keep in touch with our children, ages 17, 12 & 11. We never were even able to activate it on the 12 year old's phone, and messages sent between the other members of our family were only received about 20 percent of the time, so it was pretty useless. Many trips to customer service yielded no help, whatsoever. Also, the slide was closed most of the cruise, I'm guessing because of the weather.
