5 Night Western Caribbean (New Orleans Roundtrip)
Sail Date: August 20, 2016
Ship: Carnival Triumph
Cabin Type: Oceanview
Cabin Number: 1004
Traveled As: Couple

We were very disappointed in the cheap feel of this cruise. I've been on more than a dozen cruises on several cruise lines and this was the least luxurious. The food was average, service was poor, and the condition of the cabins and ship were sad. We enjoyed each port and guided our own adventures for next to nothing. We won't be traveling on Carnival again.

In need of a deep cleaning and repairs. The bed was horrific.

Ship Tip

Don't buy alcohol onboard; it's ridiculously expensive. You can bring two bottles of wine on initially. You can also drink dollar beers at each Mexican port of call. Also, avoid the casino. It is purely profit for the ship. Tip the staff in cash so you KNOW they get the tip.
