5 Night Western Caribbean (Galveston Roundtrip)
Sail Date: November 30, 2015
Ship: Carnival Triumph
Cabin Type: Balcony
Cabin Number: 8-735
Traveled As: Couple
Reviewed: 1 year ago

Before we boarded, Carnival confiscated an expensive bottle of liquor and did not return it. The food on board was ordinary with very little choice and long lines for every meal. No special restaurants. Only the hamburger stand was always available but the hamburgers were dry and tasteless. There were few activities of interest and the evening shows were boring. No attempt was made to encourage passengers to use hand disinfectant before entering dining areas. As compared with other lines (Holland America, Norwegian) that we have cruised with, Carnival was third rate. We would not recommend it.
