I have sailed over 60 plus cruises - maybe more - lost count since I started on the Sun Viking 1977.  Was on all the old Carnival, RCCL< Princess, Holland and regency ships too but have not returned to Carnival in two decades - just hear so many bad things but this renovated Triumph was simply awesome!  The Guy F bar-b-cue and Blue Iguana bars awesome----the comedy shows, the casino live entertainment and bar and the even the disco was insanely packed and so much fun!     There were no SPECIAL restaurants but you could order enhanced steaks etc in the main dining room but no need to - the food in the dining room simply amazed us ---- all the hype about the other lines having such better fare - no way!   Carnivale has grown up and the other lines better watch out!@  Frankly I have learned that the cruise director sets the TONE of the cruise and the Food and beverage director makes sure that the place is attended to -- nothing worse than

trash everywhere and cold lousy food to damper a vacation!

Ship Tip

The band in the casino was awesome and you could dance there all evening! Even the passengers joined in singing and entertaining us - amazing what talent is on board and they did not disappoint either!
